Well come on let’s go, let’s go, let’s go
Little darling
And tell me that you’ll never leave me
Come on let’s go and do it again
Well now swing me, swing me, all the way
Down there
Come on let’s go little darling
Come on let’s go again once more
Well now I love you so
And I’ll never let you go
Come on Baby so
Oh! Pretty baby I love you so
Well come on let’s go, let’s go, let’s go
Little darling
And tell me we’ll always be together
Come on let’s go again and do it again
Well let’s go, let’s go, let’s go little sweetheart
And tell me we’ll always dance together
Come on let’s go and do it again

When you are working for people who have repeatedly been taken advantage of because some jerks ran away with their fortune twice and you have showed them how well things can turn out if that had not have happened; life seems on a roll. Everything you want to do gets to have a granted tag associated with it even when the idea is in the head. Things go without a hitch! There is a danger however if things get even a little off track and do not work according to the expectations, somebody’s ass is on the line.
Yep I know what everyone would be thinking, but no, none of us have any plans to run away with a fortune like their earlier experiments. Fun part is that unlike my previous job or to be honest any job in this region where everything is mundane, it really isn’t really like that here. I do not think anyone would bother giving second thought to procedures that follow as long as the job gets done. This paradigm usually followed in places leads them to disasters as the whole framework is built with amoeba in mind and it crumbles because nobody could adhere to the paradigm. The word here is procedures which deserves importance. I believe that anyone in the world is capable of doing anything. It is how he or she does it that matters. If you start building something without a careful plan the chances of failures are much higher, and more loss can be expected as even when the project fails, nothing can be salvaged out of it as nobody documented the whole environment.
Second stage of my current project ended a few days ago and another is going to be week after next. The good thing about it is that you get free lunch at a sweet restaurant. Doesn’t get any better than this! I suppose I am lucky I have two bosses who are capable and well read, they think everything with an eye glass of logic rather than ego which most idiots do. I am happy because finally I would be doing a whole lot more than just development or may be I would leave development totally and move into something research based. I guess if things go well, I would be more artistic than technical soon. The words evangelist and architect are making me drool. I already bought a gadget bag and filled it to the brim with gadgets and gadgets for my gadgets. I am thinking of totally turning up a notch on blogging and take it completely technical. Already my boss has told me to secure some space on company servers. Now the weird part is that this place is amazing to work for and if I leave away for US or some place there won’t even be much monetary gain. Funny part is I want to travel while keeping the same job. Can’t have everything in life.
Now all those who read this post (including bots), say "MashAllah". If you don’t I will find you and kick your sorry asses.

You’re my ride. I’m out my window.
It’s alright.
If you’ve got candy-O.
You’re so cool.
And not much older
But you know how to drive, Baby you’re my ride.
I slip outside, and to the corner.
Roll down your drive.
Before you start it.
But I’m no fool, not like your father.
Awake outside. Baby you’re my ride

So in a solitary apartment room, you really do not have much space for anything. Eventually you accept the fate and confine yourself to a bed and a pillow. Then you surround yourself with stuff since you are not going to move much. It starts with a laptop, then you need to connect it to the power socket. Then you get the urge to play some online game on PSP so that makes a place, and it will need a cord for charging as well. Then since you need to talk to someone online, the Bluetooth headset which would need its charger, then the cell phone, the wireless mouse, the mp3 player and camera. Again, there get to be tons of cables to connect all these devices to the Laptop. I have a giant feeling that soon most of this bed is going to be taken over by gadgets and there wouldn’t be much novelty space left for me on the bed. I am thinking of posting a pic here of the bed.
Eventually you get woken up by some awful smell cause somebody in the building decided at three in the morning that curry should be reheated. The smell starts stinging, and this is probably the first time I have experienced myself waking up not due to noise but by sheer disgust. May be the South Asian in me is not fully functional clone of what other people get to have to fully admire a curry smell. So for the sake of survival through the night, window is opened and that is the scary part. Since one leg is tangled with PSP charger cable and other with Laptop charger. There exists a cell phone somewhere in one of arm pits and a camera near the leg. You have to be careful.
I think I am the only person who can live like this. If someone had asked me about a year ago to live like this, I would have said, dude you need a change of perspective. Times change, things change, behaviors change. I guess right now I just want to be alone. Bad times around.
Still, it is good for late night chat on Efnet #allnitecafe though.

Benefits of having a cool boss is that when you have to go out somewhere, he knows places inside out, has a good taste in generally everything and you get the benefit of not being close either because he is well the boss. So anyhow, I asked him for a few places to go for and turns out he is the most connected man I can ask for. Funny thing is, I have a feeling for the age I am in, I might be the only guy who wouldn’t have been to night clubs or bars or anything of the sort. So headed initially to a Karaoke cafe on Friday night which started from dinner at ten in the evening to Karaoke right after and then proceeding to some intense dance till three in the morning. Best time I had in months! I am thinking of making this a routine, and it also has a slight catch, that I do not drink, or smoke. My friends do, which doesn’t really annoy me, but that was used to socialize in Pakistan, here it gets to be a glass of beer. Ah well! The search for a friend who drinks is now on to have fun!! I think I am beginning to sound too weird even for my own levels. For a fact I did contemplate to applying for the platinum list in Dubai for a free entry into clubs. I don’t know yet, I still might if I get really bored. Next up in the list is this place called 360 which well again came up from my boss. Let’s see how that turns out.
I haven’t been following music for a long time now. Whenever somebody asks me about some new song I feel like I am some idiot and have to politely tell them I do not know. May be I should start hunting that on my own but the fact is that I am used to listening to music in groups or the thing that comes up between friends I get to pick that up. Anyway, secret Santa sent me a few songs which are just edible. First off, I am not a big fan of the South Asian music unless it is really good. But this thing is mind blowing. I couldn’t find any good version of the song on Youtube otherwise I would have linked it. So here are the song details
Album: Breathing Under Water
Artist: Anoushka Shankar & Karsh Kale
TItle: A Perfect Rain
I feel bad that I didn’t get to listen to this stuff when I was in university.
Then I found out about another amateur artist who has been making some amazing stuff on Youtube. She has been doing cover songs for a long of artist and putting her videos online from God knows where. I love her songs more than the original version for almost all the songs she has sang and even though I stay away from Pop music, I liked her version of the songs. I am leaving a link of a good song by her here.
